The Cavanaugh Flight Museum is located on the grounds of the Addison Airport (KADS) just north of Dallas, Texas.

Kelly - Maid of honor

Kelly is Katie's older and wiser sister. Katie doesn't do much, write much, buy much, without consulting Kelly first. Kelly has been there for Katie for her entire life. From putting an infant Katie in the dryer for fun hide-and-seek, to directing her in home movies when Katie was 6, to teaching her how to use make-up, to buying Katie her first beer, to traveling around London, Belize, and New York, and now to standing by Katie on the most important day of her life, Kelly has been Katie's rock, inspiration, and life coach.  

patrick - best man

Patrick is John's younger and wiser brother.  Growing up they spent countless hours playing hockey in the basement, on the street, and that one winter when the winter weather lined up just perfectly to leave a sheet of ice covering the back yard, in the back yard of their house in New Jersey.  Patrick played the role of Wakko Warner in John's attempts at directing live action remakes of Animaniacs cartoons.  He now lives in Indiana and brews beer, which John is happy to drink whenever the old family band gets back together, wherever that may be.

elizabeth - bridesmaid

Elizabeth and Katie met in high school when they realized they were two of the funniest, prettiest, cleverist theatre nerds there ever were. Best friends for 20 years, they've had their share of entertaining hijinx, but mainly just more theatre, art, and martinis. Elizabeth has taught Katie rules of etiquette, the history of British royalty, and the importance of taking the high road. 

amy - groomsmaid

Amy is John's younger sister, and the first member of John's family whom Katie was lucky enough to meet.  Amy lives in Oakland now, so during Katie's time living in San Francisco the three of us spent a few afternoons climbing hills and eating sandwiches at the now closed Lefty O'Douls on Union Square.  A very young Amy also had to suffer through acting in the living room plays John would put on at every Lynch family get-together at Oma and Opa's house, as well as being recruited with no experience whatsoever to be the keyboardist in the family basement band John decided to form while listening to Woodstock '99 on TV through a scrambled Pay-Per-View feed. 

During her time studying at The University of Notre Dame, Amy spent a semester abroad in Rome, where the rest of the Lynch family visited her for a week in the Fall.  It was during that visit that John developed his true understanding of pizza and pasta and why he has returned to Italy twice since, including taking Katie to Pompeii and Rome in early 2017.

vicky - bridesmaid

As mentioned before, Vicky is the whole reason we're here! Introducing us is probably her greatest achievement to date. That or marrying a wonderful man and raising three wonderful children. Vicky never ceases to amaze Katie with her strength, intellect, and confidence. Vicky is the person Katie goes to whenever she needs life hacks or all her problems solved. 

Jeremy - groomsman & officiant

The first time John and Jeremy met, they did not know they were about to lose a hockey game 17-2.  The first of those two goals, though, was scored by John and assisted by Jeremy, so it is only fitting that Jeremy is here to assist John on such a big day in his life.  While that whole season with the Dekes of Hazard would prove to be unsuccessful on the ice, it would lead to the formation of the Raging Tacos team that Jeremy still captains and John still plays on to this day.  Lots of time spent hanging out in the rink lobby after the games would also lead to Vicky feeling like she knew John well enough to introduce him to Katie, so that was cool, too.

courtney - bridesmaid

Courtney is Katie's littlest cousin with the biggest heart. Growing up states away from each other from Texas to Rhode Island, they only saw each other at Christmas, but that just made the holidays more exciting and special. Countless childhood memories playing games in Gram's basement and sneakily trying to slide down the stairs in sleeping bags before the adults heard, have now been replaced with champagne toasts and the annual Austin City Limits festival. Courtney is the kindest soul you'll ever be lucky enough to meet. 

brittany - groomsmaid

Brittany and John first met when John had just started working for AirTran at the Philadelphia International Airport, and Brittany as a flight attendant.  John would often be tasked with re-stocking the sodas and pretzels on the airplanes and according to Brittany he would always come popping through the aircraft door like Kramer from Seinfeld.  They quickly became the best of friends, to the point of becoming honorary extra siblings in each others' families.  In the years since, they've traveled the world and even managed to do "The Dance of Joy" in front of Larry and Balki's apartment from Perfect Strangers on a weekend trip to Chicago.
